At MS-OPTICS, we preserve and adapt exceptional optical designs for use with modern camera systems through Leica M mount conversions, rangefinder coupling modifications, and the restoration of lens units originally created for compact cameras.
Revealing the Character of Each Lens
Every modified lens undergoes optical measurement and inspection. We provide an individual optical report including aberration data for each lens.
These measurements offer insight into the lens's rendering characteristics and reveal the design philosophy behind its creation, allowing a deeper understanding of its unique character.

We accept lenses for modification by mail or in person.

Modification Process

Ship or bring your lens to us.

After inspection, we will evaluate the lens and provide a quotation.

Once the quotation is approved, we will begin the modification work.

We will notify you by phone or email when the work is completed.

After payment is confirmed, the lens will be returned to you.
Payment
Payment by bank transfer.
Return Shipping
After the modification is completed, your lens will be returned via Yamato Transport.
For international customers, we will select the most suitable carrier, including EMS, Yamato Transport, or FedEx.
A quotation including return shipping costs will be provided in advance.
