The history of MS-OPTICS dates back to 1996, when we began converting lenses to the Leica M mount.

Building upon the experience and expertise gained through this work, we started designing and manufacturing original lenses in 2006.

Since then, we have remained dedicated to creating lenses that are compact, lightweight, beautifully crafted, and distinguished by their unique rendering characteristics.

Today, our founder, Sadayasu Miyazaki, continues to be actively involved in lens design. At the same time, his philosophy and craftsmanship are being passed on to his grandson, Mizuki Kamii, ensuring that the spirit of MS-OPTICS continues across generations.

As we move forward, MS-OPTICS will continue to refine its unique philosophy and technical expertise, striving to create lenses that inspire and move photographers.
